slim's Issues

Chat window is horizontally bigger than my screen

When in the main page the screen offers two scrolling bars, both are useless as far as I know, because there is no content outside the screen. The horizontal scroll is in particular kind of annoying.

Short description and demo link

Hey I realize there is a demo link in the readme, but Github has a special place, on the top of the page near the title of the readme, for adding a short description and a link -- I often search here for links to documentation or demos that I expect from a project, and all your repos have this blank. I also recommend the short description so that way your github profile will have not just slim but a little tagline to describe what slim is. ๐Ÿ˜„

Can't chat?

When I log in, it takes me to the chat window.. but I can't see the input box?

Pretty Readme

https://github.com/adam-p/markdown-here/wiki/Markdown-Cheatsheet

90% visiting will only ever look at the README -- so it being pretty and clear is SUPER important. I suggest you take the time to do this. That's a link to some tips ( I notice you're not using headers ## and the lists look weird. Also bold is nice, because most people just skim

And mention some of the tech you're using, like the DB, the front end frameworks, the ruby gems, and heroku

also, (again just my suggestion) do include a license, it adds another layer of proffessionlism. You can add a license easily on github if you go to, add a new file and start typing license, it'll give you some templates to choose from.

Add demo link to github

In the github description you'll see a box for a link, consider putting the link to the demo there so that way people browsing can check it out :)
