Yikes! Something went wrong

Sorry about this but:

  • In explorer I created a new, empty file "Python markdown file.md"
  • I hit enter of invoke this file (.md is associated with MarkdownMonster) and edit the empty file
  • MM gives me an error message:

  • The error in the log file is:

I tried recreating the error by deleting the file and the directory and then re-creating the folder and file and again hitting enter (in explorer) to invoke the new file. This time MM worked correctly (no error message). Puzzling.

When I code [Top](#) and then click on that link in the preview window I get a directory listing:

When I bring up the generated html file in firefox or edge then clicking on the link takes me to the top of the page as expected.

Is this a bug or expected behavior?
