sexybuttons's Issues

IE and "active" button state

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Click and hold mouse on a button.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Button should change to the "active" state when mouse is clicked. IE 6
doesn't display active state for either type of button, although it does
use it's own simulated click state for <button> buttons. The active state
does work correctly in IE8 for <button> buttons.

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.

I don't know if there's anything that can be done to fix these issues. I
think they're mostly due to browser's not supporting them. I'm not too
concerned about IE6... as long as the button works. The "active" state is
just icing on the cake.

CSS sprites for the icons

if the page use too many icon-button, there would create many unnecessary
request to server, so if use spites to "cut off" from a single file which was
loaded from beginning will save a lots of resources :)

Opera and "active" button state

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Click and hold mouse on a button in Opera.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Button should change to the "active" state when mouse is clicked. Active
state is not shown for buttons created from <a> elements. (But does work
for buttons from <button> elements.)

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.

Seems to be an Opera bug/issue.

Sexy button for cancel and also for save. I see the button but not operable

Very weird rendering occuring

Just installed the latest release of Sexybuttons on my (brand new) WordPress
3.0 installation. The rendering looks less than ok.

Example: http://www.mediekoll.se/2010/03/15/zero-watch-concept/

There are two uses of Sexybuttons on this specific page. I dont know if the
issue is WP 3.0, colliding CSS markup or something else. Please advice.

Opera text selection

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Click and drag over a button

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Label text should not be selectable. But it is selectable for buttons
created from <a> elements.

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.

Opera doesn't support 'user-select: none' CSS property so there is no known
way to resolve this issue.
