If the snake is moving in a direction A, and you prompt it to move in a 
perpendicular direction B, and then in a direction parallel to A, (for 
example, in the attempt to turn around, or to move down one row in the 
gird,) and if all of this is done too quickly, the snake will either 'die' 
(in the case of a turn-around) or the sequence will not be carried out (in 
the case of moving down one row).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am using a library computer, perhaps Windows 2000 or XP. I am using the 
December 20, 2008 edition of snakey.

If you slither into a wall or yourself, it's not obvious you have lost a
life. The game needs a better way of informing the user they have lost a life. 

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. open a new game
2. click 'N' many times fast like N N N N N

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect that the game will start new game for the last N only but the game not 
working well

i used your demo and i work in windows XP

nothing and a new game really :)

1. Click the "Start Game" button
2. Press "P" before the game has started
3. Continue pressing "P"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output is nothing should happen, or it should only pause once the
level has loaded.

Isaak has pointed out the directional keys don't work in IE. This is a bug
that needs to be fixed.

I simply need to pre-cache the cherry image on page load.

I need to create more levels, I'm thinking 10 is a good number for now.
Introducing more levels will give more variation on the score, so this is
need if I want to start tracking high scores.

I need to build the frontend and backend functionality that will allow the
game to keep track of high scores.
