hello i have problem not found GlideApp

First of all, a great set of tutorials. Second, I am a noob when it comes to Android development, Java and Kotlin.

I created two accounts on the default firebase account/settings included by the author. Chat communication between the two accounts works.

I then replaced the google-services.json with one from my personal firebase account. I used the same package name ("package_name": "com.resocoder.firemessage") and enabled the Email/Password Sign-in method. With this setting, when I try to sign up a new account the app stalls with the dialog box ("Setting up your account"). However, I can see that the user account is created on the firebase console.

Any idea as to what might be the issue?
