Special characters (e.g. umlauts) are required in the name, address, and content fields. They are not well preserved during the process of converting text input through Buffer.from into base64.

This is probably because the base64 content sent to GitHub is then decoded into binary rather than utf-8 (although the .md files are actually stored as utf-8).

There may be a way to base64-encode content sent to GitHub that avoids this issue. If not, individual fields can be base64-encoded and -decoded, although this would make the raw .md files difficult to read and edit. A non-GitHub solution could be used for storing JC information, e.g. an external database service, although this would require a substantial rewrite of the website.

Which breaks automatic linking on twitter and github 😉 I think these should either have a %20 or avoid spaces entirely.

Currently to get back to the homepage you click on the ReproT logo. That's fine, unless you're me, and desperately looking for a button that says "Home" 😅

Could we add a link to "Home" just before the About link along the top?

ALL links to journal clubs on the home page result in 404.
