Orbital Orion Julie is a console-based desktop assistant built using Python. It integrates the pyttsx3 library for text-to-speech functionality, Google's Gemini AI for intelligent responses, and PyAudio for audio input/output on Windows systems along with Speech Recoginition using Google Text to Speech. This project is maintained by Reginald Sahil Chand and aims to provide a versatile and user-friendly desktop assistant experience.

Getting Started

Option 1: Download Release

Option 2: Clone Repository

  1. Clone the repository to your local machine using Git: git clone https://github.com/Reginald-Sahil-Chand/Orbital-Orion-Julie-Desktop-Assistant.git

  2. Navigate to the cloned repository directory: cd orbital-orion-julie-desktop-assistant

Install Dependencies

  1. Open a terminal or command prompt.
  2. Navigate to the project directory (orbital-orion-julie-desktop-assistant).
  3. Install the required Python packages using pip and the requirements.txt file: pip install -r requirements.txt

Run Orbital Orion Julie Desktop Assistant After installing the dependencies, run the main script to start Julie: python oojda_main.py
