I had an old version of CS2. After updating, I was able to reproduce the issue. The fix has been pushed to master.

I'm unable to reproduce on 5.3.0. Make sure that you're using up-to-date version of CS2

It's up-to-date, I played MM just yesterday, and just to be sure I tried again just now and got the same result
I also tried copying the files into a desktop folder and import from there, nothing changes
Not that I think it matters at all, but here's my system spec:
