Hi, I am Rednexie! A programmer and someone interested in cyber security who loves to create:

guilded-template's Issues

perma.db issue

The database management library we use in this repository, perma.db(which is also developed and being maintained by me), has an issue with node-gyp in better-sqlite3, and is not working after the node version 18.18.2. The lowest node version to use guilded.js is 16.11.0, so this repository will work only between those versions.

What can you do:

• You can completely remove the user ban system, or create an issue so i can do that for you.
• You can use a better storage system such as a json file, or a alternative database like QuickDB, MySQL or MongoDB.
• You can wait for the changes in perma.db. I can deprecate the database. If this happens, this repository will be definitely recreated. Or perma.db can switch to another system to store data (for example node-sqlite3). Maybe the issue with node-gyp in the module better-sqlite3 will be fixed in the future, we will see.
