How are you building your site? Are you using Webpack?

If you want to build your own version of HTMLToJSX, you need to define IN_BROWSER, otherwise it'll try to build the Node.js version rather than the in-browser version. See https://github.com/reactjs/react-magic/blob/master/gulpfile.js#L42 for an example.

I used create-react-app to build the website.
Yes, it's using Webpack.

Defining IN_BROWSER should fix this. Use new webpack.DefinePlugin({IN_BROWSER: true}) like I did in the gulpfile I linked to. Let me know if you have any issues.
