A command line tool that helps in splitting webp animation into images

Dependencies

• g++
• cmake
• OpenCV 3
• libwebp

Note: hld5 is a dependency for OpenCV, and may need to be installed manually.

Building & Installing from source

• Open terminal and navigate to your working directory.
• Run the following commands

$ git clone https://github.com/Razdeep/splitwebp.git
$ cd splitwebp
$ mkdir build && cd build
$ cmake .. && cmake --build .
$ sudo make install

Running tests

• Open terminal and navigate to your build directory.
• Run the following commands

$ cmake .. -DBUILD_TESTS=ON
$ make && make test

splitwebp's Issues

Add Unit tests

Using google-test write unit tests for the project.
The GTest project should be built as an ExternalProject in cmake.
Do not add GTest as a submodule or insert the project files directly.

Run tests using Github CI

Currently, Github Actions only builds the project after git-push.

The Unit tests has to be run after each Action trigger.

Add support for Windows

Splitwebp works fine for mac and linux.
Support for windows is yet to be added.

Implement windows runner for Github Actions

Currently, Github Actions for Linux and Mac works.
Add windows runner in ./github/workflows/cmake.yml

Refactor test variable names & make it self-explaining
