I work in television on streaming video and distributed systems at Tubi, part of Fox, focused on video ad tech for our live TV for news, sports, and entertainment. I work in Elixir/OTP and worked in Golang, Ruby/Rails, and Node. I prefer work on distributed systems, with high concurrency and millions of customers.

My passions include television, film, comedy, writing, literature, psychology, politics, journalism, singing, boxing, tennis, and teaching. I've had 4 careers: chemical engineering, teaching, spinal surgery, and software.
