Introduction:

FakeShop is a mock e-commerce website developed for educational purposes. It demonstrates the fundamental concepts of web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the Bootstrap framework. The project aims to provide a starting point for beginners to understand the structure of an e-commerce platform and how various components interact.

Features:

  • Product Listings: Display a variety of products with images, names, prices, and descriptions.
  • Product Details: View detailed information about a specific product by clicking on its listing.
  • Shopping Cart: Add products to a virtual shopping cart, view the cart, and modify its contents.

Installation:

  1. Clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/raunakmallick18/frontend-hiring-challenge.git

Usage:

  1. Open the index.html file in your web browser.
  2. Browse through the products, click on them to view details, and add items to your cart.
  3. Access the shopping cart by clicking on the cart icon in the navigation bar.
  4. There is no checkout page because this is a simulation and does not process the real transaction.
