DatePicker calendar doesn't close

If we move focus from input field to year selected am no longer able to close the datepicker by clicking outside the calendar.
Steps to reproduce:

  1. change year
  2. click anywhere outside the date picker.

Expected result: Date Picker should close
Actual result: DatePicker not closing

Possible issue with Date formatting

Hi there,

First off, many thanks for putting this together, it has been massively helpful. I just wanted to raise a potential issue I'm seeing with my implementation of the logic here. I'm seeing an error in the developer console stating "Unable to read SObject's field value[s]". A quick search of the error returns a few threads, such as this, seeming to indicate that people have had issues when attempting to save with the YYYY-m-d format.

From what I can tell, it seems like the code should handle this and append a leading zero when necessary or, at least, try to force the YYYY-mm-dd format, but that may not actually be the case. Do you have any guidance or thoughts on where to check to resolve this?

Cheers,
Marc

Placeholder text incorrect and does not change with selection

I've been trying to fix a bunch of things with the mess that Salesforce had made with localization with Summer 17. Your datepicker component has been a lifesaver up until this week. I think I have everything working, except that

  • the placeholder text has been replaced with the format specified attribute. I think this is done in the second line of the init function of the InputDateHelper.js file. I've commented out that line, but it's still occurring.
  • after user selects a date, the placeholder text does not display the date. If you view the console, the logs display that the date is selected and in the correct format. It's just that the placeholder text is still there, and still displaying the formatSpecified attribute.

Any ideas where to get this changed or how to fix this?

Using in VF Page

I have designed an SLDS VF page that uses dynamic fields from a field set to populate. However, the standard datepicker only shows the link, not a calendar. I can't seem to get your datepicker connected correctly. Could you provide more detail on the correct setup? Thanks!

Mobile rendering

On mobile the calendar rendering is pretty bad if the table is called from an other table with the class slds-max-medium-table--stacked.
All days end up stacking above one another, making the calendar very long and unusable.
Also the calendar ends up being overlapped by all the other rows.
