Movie Recommendation System

Get recommendation of movies by giving the title of a movie which you have really liked

Installations :

• python 3.5
• NumPy and Pandas - python -m pip install --user numpy scipy matplotlib ipython jupyter pandas sympy nose
• ast - pip install AST
• scikit-learn - pip install -U scikit-learn
• h5py - pip install h5py

Usage:

• Download movie recommender code - git clone https://github.com/rajarshighoshal/movie-recommender.git
• Go to the directory: cd movie-recommender
• First Run dataLoader to create data files. Use: python dataLoader.py
• After all the data files are created and dataLoader.py is executed succesfully, use python recommender.py. It will ask for a movie name and number of recommendations you want. Provide those things and you will be able to see the recommendations based on your taste.
