Archival notice

Due to a combination of factors such as not having enough time, whatsapp being really hard to theme / changes often, and the existence of my friend's vednoc dark-whatsapp, I decided to archive this theme. If you like the deepdark/breezedark colors feel free to check out vednoc's dark-switcher.

This is a dark theme for WhatsApp inspired by FT DeepDark.

Installing

Using a browser extension:

• Stylus - get the addon for Firefox, Chrome and Opera.
• This is only available using Stylus (see the documentation).
• Also see the documentation for information about customizing the theme. 🎉

Colors

The colors are available in the code; different colors can be used.

Due to privacy reasons I will not upload any more images. Please look at my other themes to get an idea of the color palettes if you don't know how they look.

Emoji round corners

Emojis

Not really a problem and I'm not even sure you can fix this but this is what emojis look like:

Transparent background

This will be a big issue where you can post if you find something that doesn't have a background because I am removing them globally. For example I have fixed the upload and viewing pictures already.

Names in groups are black

Black text on a black background makes user names unreadable. I tried to fix it but I don't know enough css.

Can't login

So if I want to use WhatApp Web, the following appears:

and it works just fine.

But if I'm using your theme, the phone can't read the QR Code since the logo in the middle gets themed:

No, seriously, just f*ck whoever is maintaining the whatsapp browser app. 🖕

The problem? Randomly generated selectors that change constantly.

Yo, @tkosamja, and you thought reddit was hard to make a theme for, nope THIS IS IT. OBV, making a theme the normal way is pointless, I have to go * and whitelist afterwards.
