Getting Started

To run Bankify-E-Banking locally using XAMPP, follow these steps:

  1. Install XAMPP: Download and install XAMPP, which includes Apache, PHP, and MySQL, from the official website: https://www.apachefriends.org

  2. Clone the repository: Open a terminal and clone the Bankify-E-Banking repository to your local machine: git clone https://github.com/rahuljsaliaan/Bankify-E-Banking

  3. Set up the Database: Import the provided SQL schema into your MySQL database. You can do this by following these steps:

  • Launch XAMPP and start the Apache and MySQL services from the control panel.
  • Open your web browser and go to http://localhost/phpmyadmin.
  • Log in to phpMyAdmin using your XAMPP credentials.
  • Create a new database and name it "bankify_ebanking".
  • Inside the newly created database, click on the "Import" tab and choose the SQL file provided (usually named "bankify_ebanking.sql").
  • Click "Go" to import the schema and create the necessary tables.
