Building this project

You will need:

• Visual Studio 2019/2022
• Git
• Vulkan SDK

git clone --recurse-submodules [e-mail]:Rahaboss/RDRMenu2.git
cd RDRMenu2
GenerateVS2019.bat

Debugging (partial support)

In Visual Studio, right click on the project in the Solution Explorer. Click on Properties > Debugging. Set "Command" to the RDR2.exe path. Set "Attach" to Yes. Set your breakpoints, inject and then start the debugger.

Implement entity pools access

Implement ped, object, vehicle and pickup pools access from here.

FPS cap bug

Currently, when in game and the window is active, the fps seems to be capped. When unfocusing the game window the fps becomes uncapped/unlimited. This is not intended behavior and a bug likely in the renderer.

Game sometimes crashes if ejecting while the game is paused

This happens pretty rarely but should be something to look into. There is no error message from the game or log from the menu. This is different from directly closing the console created by the menu.

Set player model is very broken

Especially when the clothing menu is open the Features::SetPlayerModel function raises an exception in the PLAYER::SET_PLAYER_MODEL native. This is weird as closing the clothing menu doesn't do this and the exception isn't raised in the menu code. Recently the function has started to cause the graphics to break and the whole computer to freeze, which can only be fixed with a restart.
