ScalyMUCK Version 3.5.0

ScalyMUCK is multi-user chat kingdom software written for Python 2.7 that started life as a pet project of mine to work on when there was nothing much else of interest to be doing. It eventually grew into a full-fledged server implementation whose capabilities rival that of other MUCK servers with features such as using a module based architecture for mod support, usage of SQLAlchemy for robust database support for SQLite and MySQL and usage of Blinker for event emitting and receiving.

Create ScalyMUCK GhPage

Generate a documentation from the latest ScalyMUCK code and host it via Github.

Helper API to Load Config Files

There are no helpers to load configuration files from the program install dir.

Perform General Cleanup

It seems like the ScalyMUCK core code needs a bit of a general cleanup.

Help Category Registration

There should be a way to manually register categories to the help command which takes a category name and the Python function to call when the user looks at it.

Inter-Addon Communication API

It should be possible for all of the addons to look up arbitrary addons that are loaded and check for compatibility via name and version and call functions or view properties directly on the addon instance if possible and necessary.

Verify Addon Unloading/Reloading

I don't know if the mods can be unloaded and reloaded properly.

Artificial Intelligence Hooks and Implements

There are currently no hooks for bots to operate in the MUCK software, nor is there an API available at hand to handle real-time thinking if necessary.
