========== Now attacking WLAN8D7703 ==========

Hacking WLAN8D7703 has failed, a key was not found
I have been able to crack that very same wifi network several times with
Backtrack using the most known tools and following the instructions found on
youtube tutorials. I have the key and still use it.
Something is wrong if autocrack is not able to crack it.

At random I get syntax errors when running autocrack.sh
Here's one.
I have detected other different ones that I didn't copy and can't reproduce
now, because it seems to depend on whether or not the lines of the script
containing the errors are actually run.
./autocrack4.4.sh: line 660: 17237
17239: syntax error in expression (error token is "17239")
./autocrack4.4.sh: line 698: 17237

17254: syntax error in expression (error token is "17250
17251
17253
17254")
Moniter mode not detected, Quitting
(don't worry about the monitor mode thing, that's easily fixed by running with
-cleanmon, but that shouldn't cause syntax errors)

i get these different errors which i would think would be easily resolvable in
openwrt, but i lack the know how.
i do have aircrack installed ( the checking script is not for openwrt, so
displays that it is not there )
cat clist errors ( cat: can't open 'clist': No such file or directory )
sleep errors ( maybe because of floating point? ) not sure ( sleep: invalid
number '0.20s'12 )
and doesnt seem to want to detect interfaces properly in 4.4.
i believe it was 4.3 that i got to be able to detect the mon0 iface.
and for sake of knowledge. im using a wifipineapple mark 5 router. its firmware
is indeed built from openwrt Attitude Adjustment.

There should be a way to skip the network currently being attacked and go ahead
to the next one.
The first choosen target may require a lot of time because of the lack of
traffic on it and one should be able to skip and see if the next gets attacked
faster.
What if there are 30 network and the last one to be tried is the one that would
take a couple of minute, and you stay there waiting for hours and hours while
the script tries the other ones???

3. Oh, how cool, no, I haven't. Let's try it:
4. Run autocrack --tts, or autocrack -tts, or autocrack tts
All fail because no such option exists.
So I have a look at the --help and find out the option is actually called
"voice", not "tts". Then why not change that text to
"Have you tried the voice option?"

As $aircracktest uses apt-cache to check for aircrack, it doesn't work if
aircrack wasn't installed through apt-get. I guess it wasn't a problem before
because aircrack-ng was available in Ubuntu's repositories. But, since 12.04,
it's not the case anymore.
A quick and dirty fix was to change:
aircracktest=`apt-cache pkgnames aircrack-ng`
to:
aircracktest=`aircrack-ng > /dev/null 2>&1; if [ $? -eq 0 ]; then echo "yes";
else echo "no"; fi`
This, basically, tries to execure aircrack-ng and checks the error code. If it
was successful (i.e. aircrack-ng exists), puts yes. If not, puts no.
It can be refactored into a function.
What do you think?
