Installation

• There's a package in AUR.
• There's a package in MPR.
• There's a package in Alpine.
• There's also a package in Nixpkgs.
• Grabbing the latest release tarball then running make install should be enough.

It's pretty complex, but I have to make it.

Disfetch in MSYS2 creates errors

Ubuntu logo ruins indentation

Through ssh ubuntu logo sees backslash as escape character

Support other POSIX-copliant OSs

The disfetch tool itself being written in POSIX shell, it seems to be an obvious stop.

A few pop to mind, mainly *BSD variants, and – God forbid – MacOS/Darwin.

for those Pop!_OS ricers like me!

Proper Shebang

the current shebang #!/bin/sh, does not properly display the ascii art
change to #!/bin/bash to fix this issue,
for some distros that store bash in a weird spot like alpine's /usr/bin/bash, have auto detect in the Makefile change the shebang per system
