Selector Extension

This extensions developed for blind users to make selections with full keyboard control and full JAWS support.

Settings

Dimensions

In the dimension section you can choose the fields and dimension you want to display in the extensin.

Options

In the accessibillity options you can switch the use of shortcuts from the default values to customise shortcuts. The recommendation ist to use the combination of "strg + alt + {any keycode}", so that you do not get in truble with screenreaders shortcuts. Second you can switch the accessibillity option on, so that the screenreader gets triggered with any action made in this extension.

Install

binary

1. Download the ZIP and unzip
2. Qlik Sense Desktop Copy it to: %homeptah%\Documents\Qlik\Sense\Extensions and unzip
3. Qlik Sense Entripse Import in the QMC

1. Clone the Github Repo into extension directory
2. Install nodejs
3. Open Node.js command prompt
4. npm install
5. npm run build

Lock Dimensions

Implement the lock dimension functionality

scroll when focus is outside of extension

When the focus is outside of the extension and you scroll in the extension, the focus should jump to an object

When no Dimension is included, include all Dimensions of app

extension properties - aria

make a section properties.aria. ... so that a easy reuse of this section is possible in different extensions

ESC in searchbar for values not correct

Description

if the searchbar is empty and ESC should disable the searchbar

Steps to Reproduce

1. strg + alt + w
2. strg + alt + s
3. searchttext
4. ESC -> searchtext is removed
5. ESC -> nothing happens

Expected behavior

5. ESC -> search is disabled

search in dimensionlist not working

you can jump to search an input something, but this has no effect on the dimensionlist

dimensionlist property change

if you change the element of the dimenesion, you have to restart the browser to get the right dimensions in the list

qlik.navigation.getMode() is not working in Mashups

Description

qlik.navigation.getMode() did not work in mashups, because there is no qlik import available

Expected behavior

get the qlik.navigation.getMode() from other source

change view by small sizes of element

When the extension element is too small, the pop over from the extension menu needs to be rescaled and adjusted

dimensionlist / green / gray get lost

Description

after a resize of the windows the dimensionlist object looses the green / gray for the selected dimension

Steps to Reproduce

1. select a dimenstion
2. select a value
3. resize the Windows

Expected behavior

The green / gray selection state should be the same

Actual behavior

everything gets white

2. configure renovate to use package.json from /src/

remove /change qlik editmode dependecy

ToDo: late require for "qlik", if available -> fill function otherwise editMode is always false

alternative -> move editmode in extension and transport this info with attribute -> attribute default is false

reset focused element on dimchange

if you change the dimension and the focuselmentindex in the new list is greater than the count, you can not use the keyboard to change the focus.
Please reset the focusedItem index to 0 on every dimensionlist change

invalid visualization message

Hello - unzipped the extension to the extensions directory, then attempted to drag and drop into a sheet, but get an "Invalid Visualization" message and unable to edit further. I have Qlik Sense Nov. 2017 release.

menu for selection not corret working

if you open the submenu for the selection of values like (select all, select oposite,...)
the button are not correct grayed out, and are not correct working
