At the moment, the draft student showcase instructions linked from the application form are held in a Google doc.

Before the Student Showcase CFP is officially opened and the application form starts being publicised, it would be nice to be able to migrate those instructions into a page on the main site, so we can give it a nice URL, and a similar look-and-feel to the main CFP (but not so similar that they can get confused with each other!)

I am unable to see gold sponsor(s) and Facebook while opening home page in Firefox. Also, on the Sponsors page I don't see logos for Google and Facebook.

On this page: https://2018.pycon-au.org/education-track/ The link to the Education Showcase at the end of the paragraph goes to a locahost page

Things like:

• Venue and locality maps
• Level, rooms, end of the conference centre to enter from
• short transport tips (Light Rail, walk from Town Hall)
• hotels

We have a cards in place for a few specific pages, implemented as a conditional on the card tag on a page.

The cards in general could be improved:

• Default description/image/title when none are provided
• Ensuring we remove CFP related cards once CFP closes, replacing with Tickets when tickets open
• Other improvements

Original suggestion for implementation by @devjack, content up to now by myself. Either of us should be able to guide you if you end up picking up this issue.
