Aumbry

Aumbry is general purpose library for handling configuration within your Python applications. The project was born from constantly needing a simple interface for configuration models that came from multiple data sources.

Behind the scenes, Aumbry uses Alchemize to handle the conversion of the configuration data into application specific data models for your project.

• AWS Parameter Store

Installation

# Install base package
pip install aumbry

# Install consul support
pip install aumbry['consul']

pip install aumbry['yaml']

# Installing multiple dependencies

aumbry's Issues

Allow ETCD2_URI to take multiple URIs

Currently, the etcd2 source only accepts a single URI. Ideally, we should support multiple addresses.

Support pretty-printed YAML output

Currently YAML file output looks pretty ugly. We should clean this up by using pretty print options of PyYAML.

Verify that lists of config objects can be saved/loaded from parameter store

A user has reported that when they created a list of config objects, it would save to parameter store, but wouldn't load it back. This needs to be investigated further.

Is there a way to add new keys as part of the saving the state to json file.

Mapping is pretty helpful to extract and generate the expected output. I am having issue adding new key/values and just curious how i can add new keys to json output?

Added new keys to the mapping object,but not able to get the new state to output file.

YAML loader emits deprecation warning

Hi.
There is a deprecation warning during yaml.load() call if no loader was provided. This occurs due to recent finding of CVE.
Example of warning.

Should aumbry call safe_load instead?

Etcd2 source raises a SaveError when updating a key

This doesn't cause problems on initial saving as etcd2 returns a 201; however, updating returns a 200 which isn't what the source is expecting.

Load multi config files

there are many config files need to be managed，like：

• settings/c.yaml
• settings load from config server
