Currently, I have only tested it on xterm.

Pressing ctrl + shift + v causes the program to hang and start behaving in a weird way. The CPU usage also spikes up.

Ideally, it should not do anything.

Pressing Ctrl + d at the beginning of the line should indicate that EOF has been reached.

Pressing enter on an empty line, redraws the prompt on the same row and it seems as if nothing has happened.

Implement Emacs style killing and yanking text.

• C-k to kill from cursor to the end of line
• C-u to kill from cursor to the beginning of the line
• C-y to yank (paste) the content from the kill ring

and so on.
