fritzbox-bridge's Issues

Rademacher RolloTron DECT 1213

Hi,

is it possible to integrate the RolloTron DECT 1213 from Rademacher?
The RolloTron DECT 1213 is specially designed for the communication with the Fritzbox.

More information can be found on the manufacturer's website:
https://www.rademacher.de/rollladen-sonnenschutz/loesungen/rollotron-dect
https://service.rademacher.de/hc/de/sections/360005190440-RolloTron-DECT-1213

Currently I don't have a RolloTron DECT 1213 yet, but would buy one if it would be integrated in the app. I could also do some tests then.

Best regards,
Dirk

Failed to load device list

Hi, thanks for the great app. I guess I was able to setup the settings within the app and received the feedback valid login.
When I try to add a device, that means Fritz!Dect 400 or Fritzbox (Cable 6490) I received the error message "Failed to load device list". Not sure if this is an error/issue or if the box itself or the mentioned device is currently not supported. Maybe you can give me some advice. Many thanks.

Flooding debug information

The logfile of the simple log app is flooded with debug information despite setting debug level to none. App not useable for me. Otherwise great app.

Cannot login

I have a problem logging in to the fritzbox, the app keeps reporting "invalid login".
I have ensured I'm using the correct login details (account and password) and even setup a separate account on the Fritzbox for Homey with a more simple password.
I can login to the fritzbox using both accounts using the web browser.

Note: my homey and fritzbox are in separate network segments, maybe that effects this issue.
I did confirm in the firewall traffic is passed on (port 80 from homey to the fritzbox) - I log all the traffic - fritzbox ip-address is specified correctly in the settings (so, I don't use the default http://fritz.box URL).

Enabling SSL in the app's dialog did not seem to make a difference - same error message is reported back.

Telekom Wall Button (Germany)

Hello,
Is it possible to integrate the Telekom wall button?
If additional data is needed please let me know.

Many Thanks

Feature request: Fritz!Dect 200

It would be great if you could include an option to get device temperature from this device.
Also, it would be nice if we could get the current power & Energy usage.

Are these part of your roadmap ?

FritzDect 500

Fritz!Dect 301 is sporadically set to MAX temp. with temp change

Hi,
I am using your app with 7 Fritz!Dect 301 heatings and have configured Homey Heating Manager to manage heating times.
All works good incl. Open Window detections but sporadically, the temp is set to MAX with a temperature change. Homey shows the correct target temp but fritz.box and the device is showing MAX target temp. Looks like an issue between the app and Fritz.box communication and happens 1 out of 10-20 temp changes.

Any idea ? Any other fritz.box controls (having some plugs as well) are working without any issues or retries reliably.

Any idea how to trouble-shoot ?

Fritz!Dect 200 device card question

I'm using FritzDect 200 devices.
Switching works like a charm, so now I can set schedules as well as control from Homey 8D.

I do have a question though: the device cards in Homey show three tick boxes:

  1. automatic timer
  2. device input locked
  3. API input locked

Are these linked to:

  1. device is scheduled by FritzBox (automatic switching & schedule enabled)?
  2. Permit manual switching by button on the device (general settings - advanced - manual switching)
  3. permit manual switching by telephone, app or user interface

If no, could you kindly explain the purpose of these device settings ?

Feature request: presence detection

Hi,

Could you please add presence detection to the Fritzbox like it is already possible with the netgear and UniFi app? https://apps.athom.com/app/com.gruijter.netgear

The Fritzbox can automatically forward which devices are logged into the Wifi and see it as being present or not present if you are not in the WLAN. This is much more reliable than geotracking.

I'm already using this feature with Home Assistant and it works very reliable. https://www.home-assistant.io/components/fritz/
I'm not a coder myself but the used code doesn't seem to be long, maybe this can help you: https://github.com/home-assistant/home-assistant/tree/dev/homeassistant/components/fritz

plan to update to sdk 3 for homy2023

Thomas

Missing most properties

Hi,

I have posted an issue at homey, but so far I have had no response. description

I would like to fix the problem myself, but I am not yet familiar with the test environment, nor do I have a plan to try the Firtz! Box API without homey.

Can you help me?

Issue with FritzBox 7530 and OS 7.50

Are there any known issues with FritzOS 7.50?
Before the update everything worked without problems. Since the update, the trigger for the "device connection" / "device disconnection" unfortunately no longer works. I have checked the device name. Login is also ok according to settings.

App causes FritzBox to be very slow and wifi connections of the FritzBox to drop

For quite some time already my FritzBox 7560 is very slow. Opening the login page of the web interface takes about 30 seconds(!) and sometimes even times out. Today things got even worse. Wifi connection for all devices became very unstable, even dropping out every few minutes. As the wifi troubles caused urgency (the slow web interface was uncomfortable, but not urgent), I tracked down the cause of this problem. To my surprise disabling the FritzBox app in Homey solved both problems. Turning it back on reintroduced the problems. Hence made the causal connection between the problems and the FritzBox Homey app.

To me it seems that problems became bigger after the last update although the changelog tells me the contrary.

It helps if I increase the polling interval in the config of the app to higher than 20 secs. My webinterface of FritzBox now loads pages in about 8 secs, which is still very slow, but workable. With the app disabled it pages open in 5 secs. The wifi connection now stays stable with the 20 secs setting. If I go below 20 secs (ex. 10 secs) then my webinterface takes about 20 secs to load a page. Wifi is then so-so. If I go lower to 1 sec, then pages of the FritzBox webinterface take more than 30 secs or time out and wifi becomes really unstable and drops out.

I think somehow things don;t work optimally in the latest version. Even a polling interval of 1 sec shouldn't even create that high a load so that wifi connections drop. Could you look into this?
