Current code is written against 2.68, and migrated to 2.77. But the API changed again since then and it doesn't compile anymore with 2.82.
Maybe consider switching to a library with a stable API as these continuous changes are rather annoying.

Shaders in .theRush// use the nVidia Cg toolkit. Not only this is non-free, it is also deprecated and unmaintained by nVidia. We should migrate our shaders to GLSL or HLSL.

We are using RakNet 3. RakNet 4 changes some APIs. Nothing too big but it needs some familiarity with how things are done to perform the migration (mostly ReplicaManager2 to ReplicaManager3, the rest is just namespace changes and other small things).

FMOD is closed source and not packaged in Debian. Surely we can find a suitable replacement.
