Welcome to your go-to program for Java Coding Challenges! Start up the program and select a catagory topic to discover a collection of practice problems you can try out to further your skills in java.
- To run this progam make sure you have ruby installed on your computer.
- Fork this repository and clone it to a specified folder on your computer.
- In your terminal navigate to the directory which contains the contents of this repository.
- Run ./bin/run from your terminal when you are in the directory to start the program.
- When you have executed the program you will have to wait approximately 1 min for all the objects to fully load
- Once the program initializtion is complete, you will see a list of catagories you can select from by entering the number of the topic you wish to choose
- After you have entered the number you will see a list of Java Practice Problems, you have two options:
- You can enter the related number of the practice problem displayed in the list
- You can enter 'main' to return to the main catagory menu
- You can enter 'quit' to exit the program
- If you have entered the number of the problem you wish try, you will see a description of the problem along with an example case that demonstrates a correct example of the input and output of the function you have created. You will then have three more options you can enter into the command line:
- You can enter 'back' to return to the list of problems from the previous selected catagory
- You can enter 'main' to return to the main catagory menu
- You can enter 'quit' to exit the program
After checking out the repo, run bin/setup
to install dependencies. Then, run rake spec
to run the tests. You can also run bin/console
for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.
To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install
. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb
, and then run bundle exec rake release
, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem
file to rubygems.org.
