What about sandwiches that aren't surrounded by bread/carbohydrates huh.
Do these count as sandwiches? How about a lettuce wrap?

In my experience, all of the sandwiches and hot dogs I have eaten could be consumed. This seems like an important part of the sandwich/hot dog experience.

So apparently stuffed pasta shells are sandwiches under this definition:

i will not stand for chili dogs to be called sandwiches

A soup must be able to be mixed with any other soup, and ignoring resulting chemical reactions, still be considered a soup

Many sandwiches do not have all of their contents bound by their carbohydrate casing, but instead are loosely contained within the hull.

I am allergic to peanuts, and will die if I am not given proper medical treatment after consumption. However, if given enough epinephrine and medical support, I could conceivably eat a PB&J and live. Does that count as it being edible for me?

Suppose I would take a whole roast chicken and slap it between 2 loaves of bread is that a sandwich? It feels like one becuase a whole roast chicken is multiple types of meat dark meat white meat and the back meat are all different in physical composition and flavor to be considered different types of meat under the lemma
