Event Management System

This is an event management system web application that allows users to create, manage and attend events. The project is built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.

Features

The event management system includes the following features:

• User profile management
• Event creation, editing, and deletion
• Event search and filtering.
• Event booked receipt download option.
• Dashboard for user and event management.
• Dashboard for the Admin to manage users and event venues.

Results

The below image is the homepage of the system where users can see all the events happening as well as book an event according to the venues listed on the system.

Installation

If you would like to run the application locally, follow these steps:

1. Clone this repository:

git clone https://github.com/praneethk2401/Event-management-system.git

2. Install XAMPP (or any other local server) and start the Apache and MySQL services.
3. Copy the cloned repository into the htdocs folder of XAMPP (or any other local server) installation.
4. Import the database.sql file into the MySQL database using phpMyAdmin (or any other MySQL database management tool).
5. Open the config.php file in the includes folder and update the database connection details.
6. Open the index.php file in your web browser.
