Docker Image with TeamSpeak 3 Server using CentOS7 This image was moved to CentOS7 as base due to libraries mismatch on Alpine linux. It might be a bit bigger than usual but it's still small (~84Mb).

Build Image

docker build -t polinux/teamspeak .

Deploy Data Container

All settings will be saved in /data/ts3/ directory and can easily be backed up.

docker run \
  -d \
  --name ts3-data \
  -v /data/ts3:/opt/teamspeak \
  busybox

Deploy TeamSpeak3 Server

docker run \
  -d \
  --name ts3 \
  -p 9987:9987/udp \
  -p 10011:10011 \
  -p 30033:30033 \
  --volumes-from ts3-data \
  polinux/teamspeak

### Server administrator access and ServerAdmin privilege key Admin login details can be found on first run in logs of running container. Make sure you save them. After restarting the container those details are not available anymore. See logs by typing docker logs -f ts3

Docker troubleshooting

Use docker command to see if all required containers are up and running:

$ docker ps

Check logs of gitbucket server container:

$ docker logs ts3

Sometimes you might just want to review how things are deployed inside a running container, you can do this by executing a bash shell through docker's exec command:

docker exec -ti ts3 /bin/bash

History of an image and size of layers:

docker history --no-trunc=true polinux/teamspeak | tr -s ' ' | tail -n+2 | awk -F " ago " '{print $2}'

Resolf error

I always get this error when I try to run your docker image.
Could you please help me with it?

Resolving dl.4players.de (dl.4players.de)... failed: Name or service not known.
wget: unable to resolve host address 'dl.4players.de'

This image needs to be updated

The need for a data container

Instead of using a data container, can't we simply bind mount from the initial deploy?

docker run \
  -d \
  --name ts3 \
  -p 9987:9987/udp \
  -p 10011:10011 \
  -p 30033:30033 \
  -v=/opt/teamspeak:/data \
  polinux/teamspeak

For example. Just a bit confused on the instructions.
Also what is the file permissions expected for the license file and such?

Update TS to 3.10.2

Move CI to GH Actions

Update TS3 to `3.12.1`

Builds need to be pushed to docker hub automatically.

Since CircleCi got broken builds need to be fixed.

server cannot start due to missing library

./ts3server: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
