Great use of comments. This will make the code easier to understand for self or any other users. You can also comment in the render function by placing the comments in {} like so

{/*comment*/}

Really appreciate the intuitive and original approach. the coding was very good and easy to understand. The functions as it should. The only additional material I would suggest covering is states. This document will help with handling states;

The addTrack function can be more concise like so

 addTrack(track) {
    let tracks = this.state.playlistTracks;
    if (!tracks.includes(track)) {
      tracks.push(track);
      this.setState({playlistTracks: tracks});
    }
} 

It is not best practice to store a function inside the constructor like this

class App extends React.Component {
  constructor(props) {
    super(props);
..........................................
    Spotify.getAccessToken();
}
}

The best place to put it is in componentWillMount. That will trigger the function as soon as its loaded. You can can get more information on that here;
