HC-05 is not responding to AT

Hi, Im facing the same problem you had. thankfully I found this tutorial to learn from.
My porblem is that my HC-05 enters AT mode(red led blink every 2 sec) but wont redpond to the fisrt AT command thus the program waits forever. Any insight would help.
