we will not dedicate resources to its on-going development
building maglev
is nightmare and given it is not maintained I see quite low need for it
from ruby-versions.
I suppose there's an argument for adding them purely for historical purposes. Definitely will consider dropping support for maglev in ruby-install.

just in case wait till end of the year, maybe community will pick up, but I do not think anything usable could be available in ~ 1yr

Plus they said only some of the C++ code would be released.

I think dropping support for MagLev in ruby-install is a good idea at this point. I'm not sure if we should remove it from ruby-versions or not.

Seeing as how http://glass-downloads.gemstone.com/maglev is no more, I think it's safe to remove MagLev from ruby-versions as well. The information and checksums will live on in the Git history. We could add a tag named eol-maglev
pointing to the last commit.
