Separately, are the terms foundingDate and dissolutionDate appropriate? For Organizations, they make sense, but for OrganizationalUnits, like committees, they seem inappropriate. Committees are "created" or "formed". Dissolution, on the other hand, seems fine. In the interest of vocabulary re-use, we may keep foundingDate. creationDate may be confused with metadata about the document's creation date.

NIEM uses establishment and termination instead of founding and dissolution.
