I don't know if this is a real issue but I dont view the office license keys for product Office homeBusinessRetal .

I'm using OCS Server v2.6 on Debian 9.9
Officepack is installed this way:

aptitude install python3-pip -y
pip3 install scp
cd /usr/share/ocsinventory-reports/ocsreports/extensions
wget https://github.com/PluginsOCSInventory-NG/officepack/releases/download/3.0/officepack.zip
unzip officepack.zip
rm -f officepack.zip
# Go to http://server/ocsreports and install the plugin
cd /usr/share/ocsinventory-reports/ocsreports/tools
python3 install_plugin.py

So far, so good.

Now, I'm trying to inventory 2 PC:

• Windows 10 x64 with Office 2019 x64 and Windows agent v2.6.0.0 standalone
• Windows 7 x86 with Office 2007 x86 and Windows agent v2.3.1.1 standalone
  I've manually copied the vbs script into the Plugins directory on both PCs

When I launch the inventory, none of the computers shows up in OCS interface.
If I delete msofficekey.vbs and relaunch the inventory, both computers shows up in OCS interface.

When I launch msofficekey.vbs manually, I can see MS Office version and key correctly.

Any advice? Thanks in advance

you have wrong syntax in file ms_officepack on line 38:
$sql['SQL'] .= "FROM officepack WHERE 1";
should be
$sql['SQL'] .= "FROM officepack WHERE install=1";

Also are you planning on adding all the features from previous officepack version for version 2.1?
Summary of licences was awesome feature which is missing here.

I have a problem with the 2016 office keys reporting, with the last 5 characters. The OCS agent will send 3 keys and the server will receive them, but after a while the key with the correct last octet will be removed from the server. Does anyone know why he is removed?

4. Avoir le nom du poste associé à chaque licence ainsi que le tag

I have a problem for retrieving Office 2016 standard key.

The bit is 64 but retrieve value is 1.
The key is incomplete, only last five letter be caught.
It is current for retriving Office 2013 key.

I don't know if this is a real issue or it's just my mistake but I dont know where I can view the office license keys.
I installed the Plugin and it showed me that there is installed office available. But I dont see where I can get the keys ?

I have updated OCS Server from 2.6 to 2.7 version. After the installation can't install officepack plugin.

I have deleted every element of old officepack installation even I dropped the tables in MySQL, but when I click Install in extensionmanager page produces the next message:
"Extension successfull installed !
Please, logout and re-log to finish the console installation."
Later I logout and re-log but the table in the same webpage(extensionmanager) where plugin must show is empty and if I look for the tables in MySQL I only find officepack, the first table that script creates.

I have corrected MySQL credentials in z-ocsinventory-server.conf and zz-ocsinventory-restapi.conf but same trouble.

I have been looking for ocs, apache and MySQL logs but doesn't show any error about this.

Can you help me?

I have followed all the instructions and launched scripted installation after I created all the tables structure from .sql files and the data of Office is coming to the server. I can see data in "officepack" table, but OCS web doesn't show me the Officepack details ...

Officepack displays only one entry for office 2016.
The problem is if we have both Office 2016 and Visio 2016 installed on one station. The agent only downloads/display the latest entry.

Another problem - all the time automatically does not find keys from Office 2013 (Office 15). I have to manually modify the vbs script and change the path to OSPP.VBS.

I can install again all plugins it's not a big problem, but all my packages to teledeploy... Any hint to restore my all packagaes?

Plugin oficepack successfully installed, but when viewing computer data (hardware, software, devices, etc ...) could not find the office of the license information. Generating the XML file with the data from the computer, the office of the license information is there.

Hello, I have installed the latest OCS 2.4.1 with officekey plugin 2.0. Retrieval of office keys works and I can see the office keys under "Software" for eache computer.

However, under "Plugins" I cannot see anything else than "Plugins manager":

The key of MS Office 2013 Home and Business can not be read, only version 2016 Home and Business.
I use Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. The MS Office version is 32 Bit, both 2013 and 2016.
If I start the VBS script manually, I see the output only on the computer with 2016 version. The 2013 version has neither issue nor error.
I use last version of OCS Inventory 2.3.1, Agent 2.30, and Officepack 1.1.1

Please, can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I write these lines in relation to the Office plugin that you have developed for OCS. I would like to know if there is a version of your plugin to know the features of Office and that it is compatible with the latest version of OCS 2.4 Server released in December 2017.
I installed the released version 2.0 of the plugin from September 2017 (before the release of the latest version of OCS) and I have two problems:

• The first is that the plugin does not finish installing, unless you restart the Apache server.
• Then, the client collects the Office information with the .vbs script, but does not show anything in the Miscellaneous section of the OCS administration.

Can you update officepack release? You guys made changes but release is old.

I've installed the plugin and I can see it at the plugins tab, but when I try to see the information about office license, no data is showed.
I've alrun the .vbs at the windows computer and it works.

i don´t know if the function is not available or if i only don´t know how to get it.
Is there a possibility to get a list of all office Keys? With the Windows license this is possible over search with various criteria but i didn´t get it for the office license.

It occurred to me, that when I have a windows client that has two different MS product installations (like Visio 2010 AND Office 2013) then this script will only detect one key (Visio in my case) and that's it, never reporting the other key. I assume the script is quiting to early. I can't really read vbs but I will try again but any help on this issue would be appreciated, because for now it is not collecting all available key data as if it assumes to detect only one "officepack" and not regarding the possibility that you could have two versions installed - or just one program from an older office version (like with Visio). Can someone confirm this issue?

we use Server OCS 2.3 on Ubuntu 16.04, Agent 2.3.0.0. on Win 10.
First i tried to install the plugin with the old howto (cause i didn´t found this) but this didn´t worked.
Now i imported the plugin, but when i want to install it i get two red bars with: MySQL error: Installation aborted !

The plugin is not listed in database table plugins
i also removed all old things from teh plugin in:
/etc/ocsinventory-server/plugins/
/etc/ocsinventory-server/perl/Apache/Ocsinventory/Plugins/
/usr/share/ocsinventory-reports/ocsreports/plugins/computer_detail/

I didn´t get an error in the apache error.log also no error in the ocs log.

But when I want see result, OCS told me "ACCESS DENIED" , same result with different version
/index.php?function=officepack&value=2016
/index.php?function=officepack&value=2013
/index.php?function=officepack&value=2007

If I clic on a computer, software, at the bottom I can the the licence detail of this computer

Windows agent v2.6.0.0

If the agent is automatic, office 365 and 2016 are deleted from the ocsreport.
I´m running
"OCSInventory.exe / NP / Debug = 2 / xml = c: \ temp"
and then importing "archive.xml" to the server
Office 365 and Office 2016 appear in the database.
Some help ...

I have also observed that the officepack-3.0 plugin only creation the officepack database.

in the install.php I see
// Officepark tables creation
include sql/officepack-php
include sql/officepacl-guid-fr.php
//
but officepacl-guid-fr.php not ejecuted

I have manually created all the databases in the officepack-guid-fr.sql, with all its data.
The result is the same office 365 and 2016, when it runs automatically they are deleted.

My configuration is OCS Server v2.6 and OfficePack v3. When I install officepack my clients can't send their inventories. Looking for the problem I have found the issue.

The offipack installation package doesn't create 2 filelds in 'officepack' table. The fields are:

• INSTALL
• GUID

I have created them and plugin works correctly.

I hope I can help some other people with my find.

While installing Office plugin I got the error:
ERROR: check if Map.pm and [pluginName].conf exist

When I put the officepack or other plugin in the correct download folder, it appears in the web GUI for installation. But when I hit the Install button, it goes to a blank page and it doesnt install.

I have a fresh installation of OCS 2.2 in ubuntu server 16.04

No detection of Office 2016 and Office 2019. OS is Windows 10 Pro. Offices are 64 bit version.

I did download and extract to /usr/share/ocsinventory-reports/ocsreports/plugins

I have Newest OCS Inventory 2.4 server installed.

1. Tried to install several plugins.
2. Ony on plugin officepack whn I pressed install - webbrovser tab were working on something wery long - so long my session in OCS ended.
3. after I testes plugins I noticed officepack plugins wasnt working, there wasnt any sign office keys on OCS DB (I testes VBA stript on client pcs worked )
4. After several weeks I decided to remove plugin
5. pressed that X to remove plugin and my browsers tab started to woring again. Waited more than 30 minutes and afcourse OCS session was ennded.
6. tried to log in OCS web console- none of my user accounts was able to log in OCS - no error shown.
7. restarted apache - no success
8. restarted whole OCS server
9. when tried to open OCS web console got error,
   ERROR: MySql connection problem 2002
   No such file or directory
   9.1) tried to restart mysql - sql could not be restarted:
   Job for mysql.service failed because the control process exited with error code.
   See "systemctl status mysql.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.
10. I am not an expert in MySql so I restored OCS server from backup.
11. after server restore tried to remove plugin again and same thing web browsers tab starts to spin like working on something. This time I didnt waited so long and tried to close and reopen OCs web console
12. Console wasnt working again.
13. Restarted apache and console worked
14. loged in OCS web console and went to plugins manager - officepack plugin still present (steps 11-14 tried several times)

Wanted to mention that others (up to date plugins are working) and can be uninstalled fast and easy.

My Servers parameters:
Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS
PHP Version :7.0.22
Web Server : Apache/2.4.18 (Ubuntu)
Database Server: (Ubuntu) version 5.7.20-0ubuntu0.16.04.1
Version OCSReports: 2.4

If you are interested in this issue I could give you more intel.
Probably could make another server clone to experiment on.

I installed and configured officepack plugin for OCS. However I do not see any keys being managed under the plugin.
I started debugging with running the .vbs locally and I received the correct information.
Then I run the ocs agent and I noticed that although it finds the .vbs script and it runs it, it doesn’t produce any output to send it to the server:
EXECUTABLE PLUGIN => Searching for VBS script(s) in folder <C:\Program Files (x86)\OCS Inventory Agent\plugins>
EXECUTABLE PLUGIN => Found executable plugin <msofficekey.vbs>

================= TRACE STOP ===============
EXECUTABLE PLUGIN => Plugin <msofficekey.vbs> executed successfully
EXECUTABLE PLUGIN => Searching for PS1 script(s) in folder <C:\Program Files (x86)\OCS Inventory Agent\plugins>
AGENT => Sending Inventory
Could someone give me an idea on how I could fix this? Or what else should I check?
The ocs server is the 2.5 version installed on a debian stretch with the latest officepack plugin (2.0.0)
