Hi there,
First of all, thank you for you library, it's simple and works great.

This being said, I noticed that the countdown didn't work on safari (macOs).

There's an easy fix though : safari can't parse dates formatted like 2019-02-20, but can parse 2019/02/20, which is supported in chrome and firefox.

So maybe you should change the default options and mention in the documentation that users must use the slash notation.
