blog-android-clean-coding-approach's Issues

This is not working with fragments.

I have used fragment in place of an activity and rest of the code is same, the project is building successfully without any errors but no data is displaying on the screen, here's the fragment.java file:

public class MyFragment extends Fragment {
    private MyFragmentViewModel dataViewModel;

    public MyFragment() {
        // Required empty public constructor
    }

    @Override
    public View onCreateView(LayoutInflater inflater, ViewGroup container,
                             Bundle savedInstanceState) {

       FragmentMyBinding binding = DataBindingUtil.inflate(inflater, R.layout.fragment_my, container, false);
       binding.setViewModel(new MyFragmentViewModel());

       binding.executePendingBindings();
       initRecyclerView(binding.getRoot());
       return binding.getRoot();
    }

    @Override
    public void onViewCreated(@NonNull View view, @Nullable Bundle savedInstanceState) {
        super.onViewCreated(view, savedInstanceState);
        dataViewModel = new MyFragmentViewModel();
        dataViewModel.setUp();
    }

    private void initRecyclerView(View view) {
        RecyclerView recyclerView = view.findViewById(R.id.recycler_view2);
        recyclerView.setLayoutManager(new LinearLayoutManager(recyclerView.getContext()));
        recyclerView.addItemDecoration(new DividerItemDecoration(recyclerView.getContext(), VERTICAL));
    }

}

DataBinding generated class error

I am receiving Duplicate class found error when I build the project. This error is shown by automated generated class for DataBinding.
