Cannot move the square

I have this PDF

That i've converted it in AI:

And it has a square that if i select it i cannot move.

But if i resize it, then i am able to move it.

Could not log in

After trying to log in with google account i get this message.

And i don't log in

[Feature request] More shape types

Now there is only a Rectangle and Elipse.
Please add Polygonal (with the option for a star like there is in Photopea or a Star as a separate shape).

[Feature Request] Pathfinder

In Photopea there is an option to make operations on shapes (unite, subtract, intersect...).
In Illustrator it has the name "Pathfinder" and has more options.
But in Vectorpea it can be only these from the first line of my screen:

Any of the transforming method doesn't work

There are options in the menu "edit" for that (free transform or any other transformation method), but it doesn't make anything after clicking on the option.
The keyboard shortcut doesn't work too

First, I want to ask if this is Victoropia in the basic version, is it like this, or is this just a preliminary version?
Will a tool that builds the shapes will exist؟؟

It still lacks a lot.

Can't do anything, can't import svg. You need to open the svg in a new window, copy and paste. If the Svg is too complex and you try to save the file, it hangs and does not save anything.

[BUG] When the point in the non-closed path is selected with the direct select tool zooming out with keyboard shortcuts freezes the program

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a new document
2. Use the free pen tool
3. Draw a non-closed circle
4. switch to the Direct select tool and select the last point in the path
5. Use ctrl + alt + spacebar + left mouse button to zoom out

everything freezes

"File name has to end with .psd"

Steps to Reproduce

• File > Save More > AI to Storage
• Select "[Google Drive] Private Folder" from Sidebar
• [Connect Google Drive]
• Attempt to save file with '.ai' extension

A banner appears with the error "File name has to end with .psd", and no file is saved.
Renaming to a .psd extension does nothing at all (no error, no file saved)

Tested On: Firefox 119.0 and Safari 17.0, on MacOS Sonoma (14.0), on Apple M1

Fail export as SVG in Firefox

When try export vector as SVG says:

SVG export not working for multiple artboards

I get an error when trying to export multiple artboards as SVGs:

[Feature request] Transform and Properties panel

There isn't a possibility to change many of the parameters.
Now I don't know where I can change the corner radius, shape width, and height or rotation.

Enchantment: Be able to move layers like Photopea does

In photopea, the move tool has a checkbox that let's you move the layer you have selected, and it does not automatically selects another layer when you are dragging around the canvas.

In Vectorpea, when you work with lines, it is pretty difficult to click and drag shapes/paths that are lines, because you have to actually click the lines in order to move it.

There could be a way to have the same behaviour as Photopea has?

Unable to create stroke or fill

I'm a big fan of your software! I admire your apps a lot.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open new project
2. Create rectangle
3. Delete stroke
4. Unable to create new stroke on shape

The eyedropper doesn't pick up a color sample :(

Color picker don't pick colors of the other layers

I've tried to pick the turquoise color, but the picker does not change at all

Layers palette options in the "hamburger" menu

There are many options that aren't in the program now (they are copied from Photopea but don't work in Vectorpea)

Gradient Start Stop point isn't clickable (for color changing)

If I double-click on the Start/Stop gradient Circle, the program creates a new line (that's a problem of #1).
If I have a pointer icon, not the arrow - id doesn't make anything.

It should open the color picker after double-clicking.

Combining shapes - vectorpea

We could really use a feature that allows for combining shapes. Currently, I can edit the path of a square or a circle. I'd like to be able to create more complex shapes using simple functions: combining and cutting.
For example, if I wanted to create the outline of Mickey Mouse's head, I could use three circles and join them together. Doing this manually, by modifying the path of each circle, is very frustrating.

By the way, great job! I really enjoy using your software.

Fonts are lost when exporting as .pdf

When exporting a document as a pdf, the choosen fonts are lost and replaced with a basic one.
How to reproduce:
create a new document, add a text, choose 'Oswald' as font, export as pdf => Oswald font is not used on the pdf

Feature Requests:

I just started using Vectorpea and I'm slightly struggling due to the lack of a few features. I used to use actual Illustrator when it was provided for me, but I no longer have that privilege. The current features that I'm greatly missing include the ability to lock objects, click and drag to select multiple points, and 'join' two endpoints.

[BUG] Color of the fill and stroke back to the default after creating the shape

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a new document
2. Change the fill color to the red and the stroke to the green
3. Draw a rectangle

After that, the shape isn't red with green stroke, but black without a stroke

glitching after copy/paste

i tried to paste an image of a qr code and it has been glitching ever since. i tried to save my work and it has just been saving empty documents and the saving tab has been there for hours. the only thing that works is exporting. i can't edit or save my work and I don't want to lose it. please help.

[BUG] Text disappears after creating a new shape

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a new document
2. With type tool draw rectangle for the paragraph
3. write some text there
4. use any of the shape tool (rectangle or free pen) and draw a shape

Result:
The new shape layer on the layers palette doesn't show. Instead on the text layer appears a new shape and text is missing.

In radial gradient, point of the center shouldn't move outside the circle

It is a very interesting feature but shouldn't work like that :D

Mark selected shapes on multiple selection

I don't know if the shape N A or H are selected, unless i move them or see the selected layers on the layers panel.

This is also true for Photopea, it will be really good to have all the shapes stroked blue.

I don't know if this behaviour is present in Photoshop, but in Illustrator is.

Here you can see that the text is underlined and the selected squares have a dot inside. The middle one is not selected as you can see.

There isn't install option

Is there any problem with adding a PWA version of Vectorpea like it is in Photopea for years?

Could not log in with Google

@TheRadicalDreamer WRDSB users are having the same issue with Error 400: admin_policy_enforced in Google, interfering with Photopea.
Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open Photopea.
2. Log in with Google.
   WRDSB users are not allowed to log in with Google, both Photopea and Vectorpea is the same issue. See video and screenshot.

Layer's thumbnails doesn't show anything

All shape layer thumbnails are blank. They have only the shape pictogram in the bottom right corner.

[Feature request] Align panel

Now, there isn't any option to align objects.

It can work like in Photopea.

In Illustrator it looks this:

Outline mode (Ctrl + Y)

I am missing the Ctrl + Y command to preview the contour of the shapes.

Struggling to import Ai files

Its only importing part of my file, and when i try to reopen it using file>open it opens a new one with all the layers and stuff but i just have a blank screen.

Fill type and stroke type in top menu bar are empty

After an expansion of the color of the fill and stroke - there aren't any default colors and types (gradient, full, pattern) like in Photopea.

Problem with multiple strokes and text strokes

Hello,

We have a problem with strokes when importing files from illustrator:

• Shape with multiple strokes: duplicated to several shapes with one stroke each
• Text with stroke (outline): the stroke is not shown in vectorpea

a description is shown in the pdf file attached (sorry it's in french)

Custom shape don't have any option to choose with

If I use the custom shape tool it draws only the triangle. The top bar doesn't have any option.
Same thing with other shapes (the parametric shape can't be a star and the user can't change the number of sides)

Support for older formats?

This falls under a feature request.

I have a lot of old drawing files. Some are TurboCAD and are only vector files and some are Micrographx Draw (which was bought by Corel at some point), which allows adding non-vector files.

I realize this is a long shot, but let me know if there's any intention of adding additional formats like this.

Position of the stroke is incorrect (inside/outside)

It doubles the size of the stroke in the position: Outside and Inside.

The line tool isn't a real line

The line tool should create a path with two points (start and stop of the line)

Now it creates a rectangle with four points and the user can not change the position of the start and the end on the line (using the direct select tool)

[BUG] Program freezes after ctrl+z

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Vectorpea.com
2. Create a new, empty project
3. Draw a rectangle or line
4. use Ctrl+Z

now you can't change tool and do anything. After closing the project tab and creating a new one - it doesn't have an artboard.

Feature request: Option to set SVG viewBox

save as AI => wrong extension

small bug:
when choosing 'save as AI' from the main menu, the save dialog box suggested extension is set to .psd
it should most probably be .ai

3. Select two shapes on the layers palette with shift
4. Use ctrl+g shortcut

[Feature request] Appearance panel

In Vectorpea there isn't a possibility to change the opacity of the fill or stroke. There is an option to change the opacity of the whole shape.
In Illustrator, in this panel (Appearance) you can change many of the styles and filters added to the whole path or only to the stroke or fill. In this panel, you can also add more than one stroke, fill, and many more things.

But for the start - it can be only the panel with the possibility to change the opacity of the whole path, stroke, and fill + adding more than one stroke and fill (full fill + gradient fill for example).
All of these should be made on one path in the layers panel.

now Vectorpea opens it as separate shapes and images when it can't render filter blur (for example)

Gradient Start Stop clickable area is very tiny

It is hard to modify the Start and Stop positions.
I think it is only 1px in the circle's center of the Start and Stop line. It is very hard to click on it and don't destroy the gradient line.
The clickable/dragable area should be at least the size of the circle or even bigger.

Sharing editable file doesn't work

File -> Share -> PSD (Photopes.com) doesn't do anything.
Sharing via Imgur works fine (window with the link appears)

BTW. Shouldn't be here: Share -> AI (Vectorpea.com) ? :)

There is one white layer after creating a new document

After creating a new document - the user can drag the background layer.
I think there shouldn't be any layer at the start.
The canvas has its own background color and it isn't an object/layer

can not save file as AI
