The background image isn't scaled correctly on an iOS iPhone.

Chrome only renders the first checkboxes. If i remove the translates they will be rendered.
Interestingly, the amount of checkboxes shown depends on the number of columns, see screenshots.

Files in the final book cover folder should have an Expires header, too.

With the fix of #38 there's now a bottom padding at the of the timeline which isn't desirable (but not really a problem).
To fix it, I need to calculate the last book in each column and add a certain state class.

Since the New Frontier books have an overlap with the DS9 novels and I couldn't find precise times in the usual sources, the ordering of New Frontier book >= 5 may be inaccurate.

Needs more investigation if it's possible to give them more concrete plot times.

For small viewports there can be situations where the float layout breaks:

1. The farer you go down the timeline the nearer the dots for each book box will come: This happens because of different heights of the book boxes, because the book covers aren't all the same height on each side of the timeline. This may also happen on smaller screens and different title lengths of the books, when the book title wrap into more than 2 lines on one side, but not on the other.
2. The same problem can lead to wrong floats when the book on the left side needs much more height than the one on the right side.

The filtered series should be saved in the browser so when a visitor comes back to the site he/she finds the last chosen series again.
To indicate the active filter the number of filtered series should be shown in the caption of the open filter-button.

Parts of the filtering work without Javascript (filter opens and closes), but submitting the form returns an unfiltered page.

Min and max plot time of all primary plot times of a certain series should be shown on the right of each filter series entry to give a rough estimation which series may collide.

When you filter and make a site reload Firefox remembers which checkboxes were checked and checks them again, but the timeline isn't filtered according to that checkboxes.
