SiegeUI

Summary

SiegeUI is an SDL2 based UI library for .NET/.NET Standard.

It's being built to enable development of applications that require custom and visually complex components without much impact to the end user.

This library allows the developer to build a .NET app in a very WinForms-esque way (minus the form designer, for now).

It's very much under development - feel free to poke around the source.

Control: Implement basic control edit mode

When EditMode flag is set to true, all SiegeUI_Control types enter edit mode allowing to change Bounds. All other editing functionality will be implemented later down the line.

Transitions: Implement a transition system

Needs a TransitionManager which can then manage (update) TransitionState through Transition objects on any Control property.

SiegeUI_Control: Implement docking mode

Docking modes:

• Fill
• Top
• Bottom
• Left
• Right

Include:

• Padding
• Margin

SiegeUI_Control: Implement parent/child relationship

New control: SiegeUI_Button

2 render modes:

• Flat
• Textured

Needs to be able to render an icon as well (with modifiable alignment)

(also create textures)

Effects: Implement a Brightness surface filter

Rectangle: Render Rectangles with rounded corners

Add the option to render Rectangle with rounded corners.

New control: SiegeUI_Panel

Horizontal text alignment (Text)

SiegeUI_Text: Implement horizontal alignment/vertical alignment
