Some launch agent runs never terminate. The root cause is unknown, but seems to be related to the macOS host going to sleep, but regardless there should be a limit since this prevents future runs from happening.

Options for fixing this include adopting AbortController for fetch() API usage, and/or configuring the launch agent with a timeout.

Candidates for weather data include

Possible heuristics include

• Switch to CHARGE_BATTERY_FROM_GRID if there is a triggering weather event (e.g. thunderstorm, high wind, etc) within N hours.

Run it on a schedule. Maybe every hour to start with?

I should get an email when StormGuard is activated, possibly by looking for a log pattern. Maybe CloudWatch logs?

Nice to keep this in deployment vs in code.

For running as a long-lived container process outside of AWS etc.

This is triggering a bunch, un-necessarily. Tweak the wind gust values to be a bit higher, maybe? Also heavy rain forecast seems to tickle it a bunch, too.

Add something that can perform logging with better granularity than console.log().

Must support verbosity levels.
Should support categories.

We should have some integration tests that have the Lambda do something end-to-end, in dry-run mode.

If the ERCOT grid is forecasted to have a small cushion, act like Storm Guard -- switch over to CHARGE_BATTERY_FROM_GRID.

This might let us do in-process testing where we can mock, rather than setting up fake services for all upstream dependencies (eg Enphase, Tomorrow, etc).

Enphase authentication has stopped working reliably, at least in local testing.

The Lambda deployment seems like it's succeeding often enough that maybe this is something that will go away on its own?

This aligns with how Lambda wants to configure things in the console.
