You might be interested in a couple of other projects out there for remapping, so making changes directly on the apps is not needed going forward, not even for wordwise (although electron Apps like VS Code do require some modification still due to activating the top menu on Alt).

There is xkeysnail by mooz.

If you or anyone adds additional shortcuts to the xkeysnail config file then I will accept any PR's I receive. I have had a few contributors already that I am grateful for, but none that has submitted specific shortcut keys. I can't blame them though, until the last week or so I had not worked out xkeysnail and creating shortcuts inside xkb was a real pain.
