Only mentioning a specific user will cause a db insert. Only the specific user replying to the message they were mentioned in will cause them to be removed from the db via deletion.

The DB should be polled.

It's too brittle. Maybe store the time to send a reminder as a field instead of storing the remind time in hours. Putting injected functions into the DB query was not a good idea.

By default, replying to someone in Discord also mentions them. This is somewhat excessive, so we need to ignore any messages that have references.

Need to poll the database and check time passed since the mention. Perhaps a poll rate of 5 minutes where it checks if a certain amount of time has passed -- maybe like 1, 2,4,6, hours etc... -- some kind of function that increases the amount of time between each notification.
