Can we reduce the font sizes and size of elements on the landing page in particular so that (for example) the "Welcome to Percona Community" fits in one line rather than two? The new design looks great but still looks really large.

It would be nice to perform a build and generate a preview of the site including the changes proposed by a pull request. This ensures that the contribution does not accidentally break the site build and makes it easier to review the final result prior to merging a PR.

I just cloned this project in order to include my blog post in it and the size currently stands at approximately 800MB.
This is quite large considering that I only need it to add my information and link to my post.

• Firstly, I don't know if it's possible to compress repos. But if it is, it should be considered.
• Alternatively, consider creating a separate repo for adding stuff like blog posts, articles, docs etc. This is simply for convenience of cloning the project.

It's great that it's possible to share an article via various social media sites, e.g. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Telegram. As it's constantly growing in popularity, I would love to also have a "Share via Mastodon" button. There's a plugin available here: https://github.com/Aly-ve/Mastodon-share-button - adding it should be fairly straighforward (hence the "good first issue" label)

While hovering over a card, the Top left and right don't show rounded corners like the bottom. It will be a great UI enhancement if the Border is evenly rounded on all four corners.

Currently, In the posts published in the Events sections, speakers are displayed as authors of the text. It might be a bit confusing when the text author is not a speaker and writes about his experience at the event. Example: https://percona.community/events/prefosdem-2023/

My suggestion is to display the author of text, not speakers, there. Speakers will be displayed below the text as usual.
