Taskrunner for Bash

Introduction

Imagine you can have a package manager and a config manager with only one line: . taskrunner

This is a bash library that would allow you split different tasks that your bash application does into their own files.

Usage

Include the following line in your script: . taskrunner

Now you can call your own script, like this: $ myapp customcommand

This will execute ./customcommand.sh

You can customise the command script file names using the following two variable before you call . taskrunner

taskrunner_prefix="_"
taskrunner_suffix=".sh"

In the above example, your command script must look like this: ./_customcommand.sh

Example fails if it is symlinked

The bash script used in the example, will fail it is called as a symlink.

Not possible to set an empty suffix

I'd like to set:
taskrunner_suffix=""
to get $ myapp task1 use ./task1

Empty suffix falls back to default (".sh") at the moment.

Add example

Having an example that demonstrates how to use all the options would be handy.

Needs test

Needs test scripts.
Ideally, automated using travis or circleci.

Arguments are not passed to the task script from the Environment.

I noticed that I don't have access to the arguments passed from the terminal in my task script.

For example, if I run the following command:
$ ./myapp task my-arg

I want to be able to capture my-arg in the task script like this:
arg=${1}

At the moment, $arg will be empty.
