@matthew-mizielinski, @mauzey1 has created this issue to catch some changes required for Python 3.11 support and plans to finalize, merge and release promptly. Were there any other little tweaks we hoped to catch to aid mip-cmor-tables etc usage?
For more major changes, we may need to wait for a potential 3.8, or for fundamental changes 4.0

Please go ahead with a 3.7.1 release -- having the fix for the forecast time coordinate in a released version would be useful to us.
I don't have anything ready to do on the mip-cmor-tables side yet.
