I'm using the desklet on latest cinnamon (3.8.3) on Arch Linux, the proportions of the icon and the desklet size seem wrong...

Other desklets work OK

How do you add coin not in the list but listed on CMC website

can get data for simple coin like BTC and LTC

trying to add the price for https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/hex/

symbol : hex
ID ( coinmarketcap) : hex

So I was trying to add Verge, and I spent a fair bit of time searching through the list of cryptos in the settings menu, and could not find it. Right as I was about to close to the window and assume it wasn't in the list, I found it, I believe it's the 72nd one on the list.

Anyway, I know it looks better with BTC and the other big coins high in the list, but not having the coins in alphabetical order can result in an annoying forced scan of every entry in the list if the coin you're looking for doesn't immediately jump out to you.

Regardless, thanks again for your great work with this desklet, for being the only crypto ticker desklet that I'm aware of, you really went above and beyond to deliver a quality little package. 👍

I have 1.25% display scaling on Linux Mint 21.2.
It makes the desklet distorted.

When using a VPN with an internet kill switch, the resulting delay in connecting to the internet seems to prevent the desklet from loading coin data during system startup. When the kill switch is disabled the isssue is resolved. Is there a way to delay the startup of the desklet so that it attempts to load data AFTER the VPN has had a chance to fully connect to the internet?

I am new to linux. I am running linux mint, and am trying to add the crypto coins ticker desklet. I am adding it to my desktop, but it does not appear. It will allow me to configure it, but it still doesn't appear. Thank you for your help,

New coins such as Solana or Serum or other DeFI coins cannot be found. It needs an update, these coins can be found everywhere Coinmarketcap, Coingecko, etc.. but in the widget they're missing...
