Usage

Start the project:

deno task start

This will watch the project directory and restart as necessary.

Drag and drop?

Very nice tool, I like it. I'm wondering though, why it doesn't use drag-and-drop for adding images in supporting browsers?

Validate Input

Is possible to upload PDF files. I didn't try with other formats :)
Anyway, the app show me the actual Data URI of the file.

Why not to use frontend base64 file encoder?

It is possible to convert files to DataURLs in modern browsers via File API and Blob objects, code is like

    base64data('data:'+file.type+';base64,'+atob(reader.result))
}
reader.readAsBinaryString(file)

In IE 9-10 it is possible to base64encode static(not animated gifs) images through canvas(but jpegs will be re-compressed), also excanvas brings same functionality to older browsers.
