Voice Chess game for Google Actions

Voice Chess - interactive game build on Actions for Google Assistant. Where the Google Assistant is, there must be a voice. And Yes! Voice Chess - an app for full voice control. It can be played without any touch interaction or even a glance at the screen.

The application was designed with the intention that even complete blind people could play chess with it.

Now the app supports 2 languages:

• Russian

How to play

To play chess with this app, you need to activate the "Voice Chess" action from Google Action register. And then you can start playing by saying:

• Ok Google, Voice Chess
• Ok Google, Open Voice Chess
• Ok Google, Play Chess

"Repeate" feature

For this functionality, we need a back-end DB.

Three-fold repetition to draw

This draw scenario is not built into the Stockfish chess engine, that is used in this project. And a self implementation will require storage all past chessboard positions throughout the game. This leads to the need to use some temporary server storage, such as a Realtime DB on Firebase.

Incorrect castling state recovery

When you change your last move, and that move was a castling or first rock move - the castling availability in fen string doesn't recovery correctly.

Bug with stockfish wasm module in Pawn promotion

When I want to promote my pawn to a queen (example position: "8/1P6/8/8/8/5k2/8/8 w KQkq - 0 1"), the engine is crashed with memory access out of the bound.

And more interesting, if I promote pawn not to a queen, but as for example, to a knight - all works as expected.

Web server is needed to provide dynamic chessboard image hosting.
